Fans go 0-for-101 attempting Cody Parkey Challenge at Chicago brewery  2 Months ago

Following Cody Parkey's tipped, missed field goal that eliminated the Chicago Bears from the NFL playoffs, Goose Island Brewery issued a challenge to fans: Make a 43-yard field goal – the distance that Parkey faltered on in the final seconds against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday – and win a trip to an NFL game .

Saturday in Chicago people got their chance at the Cody Parkey Challenge, and they promptly went 0-for-101, per ESPN.

Without a grand prize winner, the brewery is donating $20,000 to the Lurie Children's Hospital, the charity chosen by Parkey.

While there were no made kicks, there were a litany of hilarious wipeouts on a snowy day.

ESPN radio personality Mike Golic Jr., who played football professionally as an offensive guard, was probably the most famous person to take part in the event.

The most memorable miss of the day resulted in some pain for a poor person working security.

"I would say that Chicago Bears fans were in need of therapy and we held a successful session. There are a lot of smiles around the streets right now," Goose Island Brewery president Todd Ahsmann told ESPN.

Ahsmann added: "We may have had a month of depression if it wasn't for this event."
