Pushpa 2 Will Be 'Bigger and Grander', Makers of Allu Arjun Starrer Share Mega Update

Pushpa 2: The Rule is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of 2024. While everyone is eagerly waiting for it, the makers have now assured that the Allu Arjun starrer will be “bigger and grander”. Recently, the official Instagram page of Mythri Movie Makers shared an update on the movie and wished director Sukumar on his birthday. In the note, the makers also clarified that the Pushpa 2 release date is not getting changed and rather it will hit theatres as scheduled i.e. on August 15, 2024. “Wishing the maverick director and the creator of the awe-inspiring world of #Pushpa, Sukumar a very Happy Birthday. #Pushpa2TheRule will be bigger and grander with his vision. Grand Release Worldwide on 15th AUG 2024,” the makers wrote. Released in 2021, the film turned out to be a blockbuster. The action drama dealt with red sandalwood smuggling. Last year, Allu Arjun also won the Best Actor National Award for her performance in the movie. Last year, Allu Arjun shared his first-look poster of Pushpa 2 in which he was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported bangles, jewellery, a nose pin and jhumkas. Later, the look poster of Fahadh Faasil from the movie was also released. Fans are now waiting for Rashmika Mandanna’s look poster. Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi has also reportedly joined the sequel of Pushpa. Reportedly, the makers are also planning to get on board a Bollywood actor too. However, no name has been officially announced as of now. The shooting for Pushpa 2 is currently underway. In November 2023, the shoot was halted for a couple of weeks due to Allu Arjun’s health issues but it was resumed later.
